Masqueraders

Some of the most iconic masqueraders from the carnival are depicted, including Jab Jab, a main character unique to Grenada, who wears a chain that symbolizes emancipation.

The Masqueraders at the Naval Academy have a show this weekend and Profs and Pints returns tonight!

The Ker Cup is Bridgwater Carnival’s most prestigious trophy and is awarded annually to the best gang or group of masqueraders in the procession.

Fancy Mas on Carnival Monday and Tuesday also saw increased participation from bands (11) and masqueraders with bejeweled costumes, pageantry and storytelling.

This administration has not adopted Section 361 to address masqueraders but has simply adopted the line of least resistance by remaining non-committal to questions posed by way of entrapment.

Masqueraders and musicians, led by Adewale Ayuba entertained the crowd.

Throughout the Carnival season, people disguise themselves as maskarádes ("masqueraders") and engage in pranks and revelry.
