Led by President Madison Mattila and Vice President Henry Basala, the club is always searching for new members.

BC broke out 2-on-1 with Mattila and junior right wing Logan Hutsko (2 assists) executing a perfect give-and-go.

Kuntar is one of seven forwards who will be joining the Eagles next season, as BC will attempt to replace a number of important players up front, including David Cotton and Julius Mattila.

This video, recorded in 2010, documents Mattila’s first take on the part, which curiously plays much more effectively, both dramatically and musically, than her the following season.

But Ms. Mattila gave it a try.

Cotton and Mattila both ended the weekend with two goals and four assists, while Hutkso ‘settled’ for one of each.

This spring Ms. Mattila (center, with Paul Corona and Karin Cargill) had a brutal death scene in Poulenc’s “Dialogues des Carmélites" at the Met.

Myles Mattila, who opened the scoring in the second period and closed in in the third into an empty net, and Devin Sutton scored for Kelowna (19-0-1-0-2).
