Mentallo's name is also a playful homage to the Pulp Action heroes of old.

WPW’s “Barrcade” event – a play on the popular WCW Starrcade events of the 1990s – features Sanchez alongside Tyson Dux, “The Canadian Hercules” Tyler Colton, “The Zombie Hunter” Mentallo, and wrestling phenomenon Joey Ryan as a guest general manager.
