Toposa Chairperson Paul Napwon warned that any Kenyan-led construction beyond Nadapal is unacceptable, adding that the community only supports the South Sudan-led road development agreement from Juba to Nadapal, supported by the World Bank.

According to Taban, the government is engaging with the World Bank and development partners to help raise funds for the construction of the Juba-Nadapal Road.

The President said Kenya and South Sudan will put more efforts in completing trans-national highways including the Eldoret-Lokichoggio-Nadapal-Kapoeta-Torit-Juba road.
