Incursions, deadly multiversal events in which two or more universes crash with each other and lead to their destruction, were namedropped by Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Since the Knights of Ren were namedropped in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it was assumed they would be just as important to the story as Kylo Ren (for whom they were seemingly named, and whom they also serve).
