In a Namor the Sub-Mariner miniseries, Namor’s adventures inadvertently forced him to spend more time on the surface than the Atlanteans were comfortable with.

The MCU made such adjustments with its Latine Namor, but in the DCU's case, it doesn't have to tweak lore.

The more notable of sympathetic MCU villains have come from the Michael B. Jordan's Killmonger and Tenoch Huerta's Namor ultimately wanting to do right by their culture and people, but going about it in the wrong ways.

The sequel also made sure to note that Namor was a mutant as well.

This is a stunning admission for Namor, particularly since Mister Fantastic is his rival for the Invisible Woman’s affections.

Or just because Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Captain America, Namor and Human Torch are in the public domain.

Without Namor's help all would have been lost.

But can Namor possibly be redeemed?

Fans have long speculated that major Marvel characters like Doctor Doom or Namor could take such a role.

For some time, a movie in the MCU featuring the character seemed impossible, considering that the rights to Namor belonged to Universal Studios, but it would seem that things have changed.

It exposes the arrogance of Stein and of science as a whole, not because of his skepticism towards Namor in the first place, but because of his fear that he might be wrong in his understanding of aquatic life.

It's pure speculation for the time being but could this be a reference to Namor the Submariner?

Namor is one of the most powerful mutants in Marvel Comics.

Namor’s deadly plans are as far-reaching as the ocean, and it’s up to the Invaders to stop him — but what chance do they have against a former ally who knows all their wartime strategies and fighting tactics?

This includes the film's villain, with M'Baku, Namor the Sub-Mariner, and Doctor Doom all popular choices.

Though he comes from Atlantis, virtually a different world, this issue shows us Namor is just as vulnerable to the scars of war as his human cohorts.

As a result, the combined efforts of his genetic makeup alone give him certain advantages that Aquaman simply just lacks, giving Namor a definite advantage in this regard.

However, since Namor has defended himself from the likes of each of those teams, it goes to show that he has faced some far greater and more powerful opponents than Aquaman has.
