Incumbent Guyana Press Association (GPA) President Nazima Raghubir was on Sunday re-elected to another term as President of the Caribbean’s second oldest press association, but not without some controversy.

Nazima lives in this single room in Srinagar with Taufiq and her two older children, aged seven and 10. Her husband died from heart disease four months ago and although there is sadness in her voice, she says she tries to appear strong for her children.

Nazima Raghubir, current President of the body has served in various capacities in the GPA since 2002.
