Sheldon John Hurrell, of Westborough Road, Westcliff, was caught speeding in Nevendon last October.

An Essex Police spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a collision between a car and a van in Nevendon Road, Wickford, at just after 2.30pm yesterday afternoon.

Developer Caineal has submitted a scaled back application to Basildon Council after initially unveiling plans for a 24-hour-a-day data centre on land on both sides of Old Nevendon Road, Wickford.

With locals asked to keep their windows and doors shut, smoke spewing from the centre on Hovefields Avenue could pose a danger to drivers using the A127 between the Nevendon interchange and Rayleigh Spur roundabout.
