Prior to awarding of the contract to Peermont in 2014, the Umodzi Park had been a centre of controversy with government having difficulties to choose the preferred bidder between Peermont Limited and Legacy Holdings.

The Peermont Emperors Palace Charity Mile has become a highlight of the horseracing calendar, with the 2018 celebrities supporting their charities and horses.

A number of Germiston and Katlehong residents have reason to smile as they can now look forward to a brighter future having recently graduated from the Peermont Hotel School (PHS) at Emperors Palace.

Tembisa and Kempton Park residents graduated from the Peermont Hotel School as chefs, waitrons and housekeepers on April 17, at a ceremony that was held at the Red Roman Shed at Emperors Palace.

The event will take place in the perfectly manicured gardens of the five-star Peermont D’oreale Grande Hotel at Emperors Palace.

Vosloorus resident Mpho Letlalo (middle, 20) can afford to smile after receiving a full scholarship from the Peermont Education Trust to start his third year B.Sc. chemical engineering studies at the University of the Witwatersrand this year.
