Pinchers

Sometimes, overly-cheap behavior can push people away, and penny-pinchers may also be depriving themselves unnecessarily and making their lives less enjoyable.

Im no bugologist, but it sure looked like real beetle figured out rather quickly that robobug was just opening and closing its pinchers in a repetitive sequence.

The well-to-do wore silk stockings for bathing; the less affluent had new, if not silk, bathing hosiery; and the penny pinchers wore old darned cast-offs.

They have been compared to lobster claws, although the don't actually "pinch" their ligand, they chemically interact with it at the insides of the "tips" of their "pinchers".
