Plasticware

Hundreds of birds circled overhead and explored the buffet of scraps collected from Charleston’s curbs: coffee cups, banana peels, plasticware, candy wrappers, worn-out shoes and packaging from Amazon deliveries.

This usually involves spatial separation of PCR-setup areas from areas for analysis or purification of PCR products, use of disposable plasticware, and thoroughly cleaning the work surface between reaction setups.
