Pompeiian

I like to think of “In the House of the Trembling Eye” as a conversation across time, in which these Pompeiian fragments speak to some of the most remarkable contemporary artworks of the 20th and 21st Centuries.

The mountain may have had only one summit at that time, judging by a wall painting, "Bacchus and Vesuvius", found in a Pompeiian house, the House of the Centenary (Casa del Centenario).
