Prickling

Every Muslim in a minority country knows the prickling discomfort as the clock ticks by while trying to find somewhere to pray.

The Picos de Europa National Park is an extraordinary prickling of scenery that lurks just inland from the Asturian coast and is easily reached from the UK via Asturias, Santander or Bilbao airports.

A prickling started in her shoulders.

But as I stare at the faces in this series, I feel the same old prickling of fear – and the same need to understand.
