He said the Presidential Task Force is set to present the sixth interim report on the eased lockdown to the president, the outcome of which would pave a way forward for the PTF.

Mr. President has similarly considered the fact that the six-month mandate of the PTF will expire this month and has therefore extended it till the end of December, 2020.

Ms Zouera Youssoufou, Chief Executive of the Foundation in a statement on Wednesday in Lagos, said that the foundation had assisted the PTF in conducting tests for over 500 Nigerian returnees.

PTF Coordinator, Dr Sani Aliyu made this call in Abuja on Monday while briefing reporters.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the PTF chairman, a deputy director general services, in the office of the SGF, Dairu D. Abdul, thank the Lee group, even as he assured that the donation will get to Nigerians.

Similarly, the PTF national coordinated also stated that cinemas and amusement parks can also operate, with the exception of bars and night clubs, which he said, will remain closed.

The candid advise of the PTF still remains that non-essential trips should be totally avoided.

The chairman said the PTF was escalating its surveillance and testing drive to ensure containment of the virus ahead of Christmas season for the safety and health of the citizens.

The medical equipment worth 8 million dollars was handed over to the PTF on on Saturday at the Premier Medical Warehouse, Abuja.

The PTF also prohibited interstate travels, apart for essential services.
