Kids and families can go pumpkin bowling (we assume that means knocking down pins with pumpkins, or perhaps even knocking down pumpkins with pumpkins), make crafts, and show off their Halloween costumes.

Claremont Farm’s ‘pick your own pumpkins’ event opens on October 7 and will run until the pumpkins are all gone!

This patch is part of a family-owned farm that grows up to 60,000 pumpkins annually, offering visitors a range of different colours and patterns to choose from, including striped, spotted and even pink pumpkins - with prices starting from just 75p.

Visitors can choose a pretty coloured wheelbarrow before heading around the farm to choose their own pumpkins which come in a vast array of shapes, sizes and colour variations including traditional orange, white, green and even speckled pumpkins.

Conan revealed that he has a family member who also grows giant pumpkins, which led to a conversation about mating pumpkins.

The fall celebration features pumpkins stacked high carved from local artists to create wild sculptures, Halloween carnival games and a chance to carve your own pumpkins with help from pumpkin carving experts.

Drop off carved pumpkins for judging at the Downtown Pavilion from 4-5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31 during ERBM Recreation & Park District’s annual Pumpkins Eats ‘n’ Treats Halloween celebration.
