Mild tension prevailed on Monday morning as residents in the Raidurgam area protested the demolitions of a few houses, claiming they were conducted without issuing proper notices.

The revenue officials had demolished all illegal buildings that were constructed in Raidurgam in Ranga Reddy district.

Later, the officials took the metro ride and travelled from Hitec city to Raidurgam.

Minister for Municipal Administration K.T. Rama Rao and Minister for Transport Puvvada Ajay Kumar have flagged off Metro Rail services from Hitec City to Raidurgam stretch at Hitec city Metro station on Friday.
