The Railsplitters earned a team GPA of 3.3 over the 2022-23 season.

Calhoun sunk both free throws with 1:37 to go to put the Railsplitters ahead 88-84.

Named a preseason All-American by both the Division II Bulletin and Street & Smith, Taylor has lived up to the hype this season, leading the Railsplitters with 19.0 points per game.

That shot saved an otherwise forgettable offensive performance for both Taylor and the Railsplitters.

The Railsplitters missed the potential go-ahead three on the other end and immediately fouled Donaldson, who hit two more free throws to make it a two-possession game with 12 seconds left.

The Railsplitters will now move to the second round of the tournament and play Wingate March 3 at Timmons Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.
