The Rangeley Friends of the Arts will host the Rangeley Lakes Regional School annual art exhibit from 5-6 p.m. on Friday, April 28, at the Lakeside Contemporary Art Gallery located in the lobby of the RFA Lakeside Theater in Rangeley.

The award will be presented at the annual Rangeley Birding Festival in June in Rangeley.

A craft and antique fair with dozens of booths, on the grounds of Rangeley’s Outdoor Heritage Museum, just as Mainers’ favorite non-native lavender flowers are blooming.

Now 125 years later, because of COVID, people have rediscovered Rangeley as an outdoor destination.

The Rangeley Friends of the Arts is set to host an evening of personal storytelling at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at the RFA Lakeside Theater, 2493 Main St.

We imagined the slow procession of Rangeley boats making their way up the lake for summer Sunday services.

Without Saddleback providing winter jobs, the town has seen some émigrés, and its workforce has dwindled (you may hear lifties at other Maine hills joke ruefully about being “Rangeley refugees”).

Anyone in need of emergency food assistance in Rangeley and the surrounding area is welcome to attend.

As a result of the investigation Bruce Lavoie (47) of Rangeley was arrested for Domestic Violence Assault and Criminal Mischief and transported to jail without incident.

AUBURN - James Edward, “Jim” Grant, 70, native of Rangeley, died Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the Hospice House.

All profits generated from the sales are donated to local and national charities, and many of these donations stay in the Rangeley community.

As with all Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust owned properties, a comprehensive management plan is being developed to ensure these objectives are met.

Dave fell in love with Rangeley at first sight; after moving there permanently he knew that he was home.

Many Rangeley restaurants within walking distance will be open, too.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Church Saturday, April 7th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Interment will be on Saturday, May 26 at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Rangeley.
