Reassessments

MP, Wendy Chamberlain, asked what guidance was in place to make sure that people with “degenerative conditions are identified and recorded for the purposes of scheduling future reassessments”.

No other Council members addressed the reassessments at the meeting.

Critical of the system run by public sector staff, the DWP expected that independent medical reassessments would lead to a dramatic fall in the number of people staying on benefits.

Our involvement is part of the healthy change that North Tonawanda needs, be it via volunteering to assist with a new park, revamping our infrastructure, or remaining vigilant about truck routes and housing reassessments.
