Dansville Central held a family night event for the pre-kindergarten students on Dec. 3. Rinker’s Readers Founder, Janelle Rinker, has been doing this event for several years now in hopes of bringing awareness to the importance of reading at a young age.

Al Rinker, Miles Rinker, James Heaton, Claire Pritchard and Robert Pritchard, along with drummer Crosby, formed the Musicaladers, who performed at dances both for high school students and club-goers.

In Kalamazoo, Michigan, Allison Rinker was using a borrowed generator to keep her 150-year-old house warm Saturday after two nights in the cold and dark.

However, nearly 4 inches of rain has fallen in the Winchester area since the start of August, so Rinker expects to begin harvesting soon.

The plan includes expanding Chapman’s Rinker campus in Irvine so it can absorb some of Chapman’s current graduate students, which could then decrease the number of people at Chapman’s Orange campus.
