It’s possible that, while guys like Morin, Hagg, or Sanheim get their feet under them, Gudas is asked to do even than he has been in recent years.

Not only is his confidence showing, but perhaps it’s leading to more of a leash from coach Dave Hakstol, who has been notoriously tough on Sanheim as a pro.

Sanheim in particular had a nice chance off the rush, his shot dinging right off the post.

Sanheim was moving the puck with ease, and getting the Flyers out of their own zone when needed.

So far this season, Sanheim has one goal, four helpers, 12 penalty minutes, and 48 shots on goal in 35 games.
