After drafting Michigan defensive tackle Mazi Smith in the first round, the Cowboys took Michigan tight end Luke Schoonmaker in the second round.

As of now, Jake Ferguson holds the primary tight end position for the Cowboys, while Schoonmaker serves as a valuable backup.
