The film stars Brian Cox as Helm Hammerhead and features Miranda Otto, reprising her role of Éowyn, Shieldmaiden of Rohan, from The Lord of the Rings film trilogy.

On Saturday, Melbourne, Australia-based cosplayer AltF4Cosplay posted her completed shield from Brigitte’s “Shieldmaiden” skin.

Right off the heels of the previous episode’s cliffhanger, opens by revealing that Ivar’s dreaded sacrifice is a nameless shieldmaiden who kind of looks like Lagertha.

Still, that she will not only become a full leading character but that she will actually replace Lagertha as the show’s lead shieldmaiden and most prominent female character in general.
