Shoto

A large aspect of Shoto Todoroki's character development is his relationship with his father, Enji Todoroki, or Endeavor.

For example, one artist on Twitter posted two adorable but emotional images that depict a possible (but unlikely) conclusion to the conflict between the young hero Shoto Todoroki and the villainous Dabi.

Geten may not be able to produce ice like Shoto, but he can effortlessly control all the ice in his environment.

The characters who are available are Izuku Midoriya, All Might, Katsuki Bakugo, Uraraka Ochako, Shoto Todoroki, and Tenya Lida.

But soon enough, Shoto comes in from half the town away for an epic delivery of his Great Glacial Aegir for a huge save.

Shoto’s quirk also received a few drawbacks, deeming his Half-Cold Half-Hot quirk an imperfect power.

Half-Cold Half-Hot is one of the most powerful Quirks and is wielded by the youngest child of Enji Todoroki, Shoto.

He keeps up with Midoriya and Shoto, both of which have powers akin to that of multiple Quirks.

It's implied that a person can only naturally obtain one quirk, save for All For One, but Shoto Todoroki clearly has two—what's up with that.

Izuku was able to flick his fingers to release an air pressure that breaks Shoto's ice, so he would be able to do the same against Midnight's Somnambulist.

Not only that, but Shoto can put up a wall of ice that would block Midnight's Somnambulist from getting close to him.

Shoto admitted that he was preoccupied and overdid things, and he melted Sero out of the ice not long after that.

Shoto loses it at that point, straight-up asking Dabi "Are you freaking insane?

Shoto's relationship with his parents is a complex one, since he wants to be a hero but doesn't want to fulfill the "you must surpass All Might" destiny that his father had laid out for him since before he was even born.

Of course, the choice to make amends with Endeavor will fall to Shoto alone, and it seems the boy is wavering on his stance.
