Among the eight currently reported in hospital, two were seamen from outside Estonia who arrived at the port of Sillamäe, Ida-Viru County, and whose state of health required hospital treatment.

Sillamäe also has a hobby group outbreak, and there are two further outbreaks: within a circle of acquaintances in Toila Parish and within a family in Lüganuse Parish.

The first container ship departed Sillamäe for Rotterdam on November 19, 2016.

EPL and Delfi said for their part that careful consideration was given to their coverage, which they felt valid given the incident was the third at the same Sillamäe school involving what it called school violence, in six months.
