Tennessee Attorney General Herbert Slatery announced Wednesday a settlement with the fan convention’s owner that could yield refunds for ticket holders and vendors.

Slatery and the attorneys general of North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Texas put together the proposal, which is meant to settle thousands of claims made against the drug companies, both by states and local communities.

State Attorney General Herbert Slatery’s office says in a release that the drugs treat diseases and conditions including basic infections, diabetes, cancer, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and HIV.

With the help of attorneys general Herbert Slatery of Tennessee, Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania, and Ken Paxton of Texas, a $48 billion settlement will provide funds and treatment drugs, plus prevention of pill mills.
