They say Snellgrove catered to Roberts by readily giving him excessive medication, even though Snellgrove knew Roberts was addicted.

Byron Snellgrove, Cayce’s Director of Public Safety, was on scene Thursday morning when they narrowed the search to Coty Taylor’s yard.

Cayce Director of Public Safety Byron Snellgrove says evidence points to Coty Taylor, 30, killing Faye just hours after she was abducted last week.

Officers questioned Taylor and went into his home the day before the girl’s body was found, but Cayce Public Safety Director Byron Snellgrove said they found no evidence of the girl at that time.

Taylor had a roommate who was not home much while the girl was missing, said Snellgrove, adding the roommate appeared to know nothing about the abduction.

We are now treating this case as a homicide," an emotional Cayce Public Safety Director Byron Snellgrove said at a news conference Thursday afternoon.

The landlady was Connie Snellgrove, a wonderful baker.

The indictment states Snellgrove began prescribing drugs to Roberts as early as 2005.
