Stuntz

At 2:30 p.m., a BIA rifleman fatally shot Joe Stuntz, an AIM member who had taken part in the shootout. citation At 4:31 p.m., authorities recovered the bodies of Williams and Coler from their vehicles.

At 6:30 p.m. they ignited tear gas and stormed the Jumping Bull houses, where they found the body of a Native American, Joseph Stuntz.

Stuntz appeared to have died later, during subsequent shooting.

Stuntz was clad in Coler's green FBI field jacket, which he appeared to have taken from the agent's car.
