Tempesta

This first work, screening in Generation14Plus, is produced by ’s Tempesta which discovered Alice Rohrwacher (“The Wonders,” “Happy as Lazzaro”) and is known for nurturing the cream of Italy’s new cinematic crop.

Often viewed as more competent than inspired, the Tempesta musicians proved that notion a misnomer, for here Telemann’s gift for the dramatic flair was splendidly projected.
