Businesses born on the internet including shirt maker Untuckit, make-up retailer Glossier, lingerie brand ThirdLove and shoe company Rothy's are plotting physical expansions.

Startups ThirdLove and Lively, along with Aerie, which is owned by American Eagle Outfitters, have broken Victoria’s Secret’s grip on the industry by selling better-fitting bras and using inclusive advertising.
