According to Tufton, Jamaicans are dying primarily from lifestyle-related diseases.

But while touting that the public-private partnerships have been working, Health Minister Dr Christopher Tufton told that the government is currently considering leasing these equipment rather than purchasing them.

Dr. Tufton gave the Lower House a breakdown of the various positions.

Dr. Tufton is warning people not to use hospitals as shelters or infirmaries.

Dr. Tufton says posts for nurses and other health professionals will also be established to improve the delivery of healthcare.

The Health Minister, Dr. Christopher Tufton says over three hundred million dollars has been allocated among entities to assist in controlling the outbreak of dengue fever.

Dr. Tufton, who spoke during the reopening ceremony, noted that the changes to the health centre were long overdue and encouraged staff and patients to relish the new amenities.

During a heated town hall meeting held at the Watermount Primary School last Wednesday, Tufton lambasted Scott, who is also the mayor of Spanish Town, for allegedly neglecting his fiduciary responsibilities.

According to Tufton, 20 are residents and 16 are staff members.

According to Tufton, work has already started to accommodate the first field hospital.
