Unfriending

The "unfriending" mentioned by Sean Feucht is in all likelihood just the beginning.

This includes the Canadian premiere of the feature film Unfriending—“a dark comedy of bad manners”—directed by Brett and Jason Butler.

While distancing yourself from someone, or even unfriending people, may seem like an extreme and uncomfortable decision, it is actually one of the most powerful acts of self-care you can practice.

Block that noise without unfriending, by simply unfollowing him or her.

It originated from the practice of “cancelling” – that is, condemning, unfriending or unfollowing – someone on social media because that person said something that others find offensive.

However, provided your ex didn’t do something to warrant being cut out of your life entirely, unfriending them can feel unnecessarily harsh.
