DePaul junior Vanesa León said that though she sees benefits to including Hispanic/Latino as a race category, she feels the census does not account for the fact that the Latino community is a diverse community.

The narrative revolves around Dita, who, despite never aspiring to be a mother, finds herself compelled to raise her girlfriend’s two daughters—Mia, a tiny troublemaker, and Vanesa, a rebellious teenager.

The group has since welcomed João Paulo behind the percussions and Vanesa Tabarez handling the keyboards and assisting with the vocals, which makes them six to date.
