Veepstakes

The “Veepstakes” should move out of the shadows and into a public show of bravado.

Former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) sidestepped the rumored frontrunners in former President Trump’s veepstakes, urging Trump to put forward a different candidate: Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R).

Her name had not been seriously considered for the veepstakes until Axios reported that world insiders said she was under serious consideration.

Rice, it seems, doesn’t play well with others, as she’s apparently been at odds with VP Kamala Harris ever since Biden opted for Harris over Rice in his racist “woman of color” veepstakes.
