Veinlets

Outcrops of sericite altered intrusive rock with molybdenite bearing quartz veinlets have been identified in the area as have gold and silver bearing quartz-sulfide veins.

The dykes appear to form the core of a zone of quartz chalcopyrite veinlets that cut the dykes and surrounding granodiorite.

The hole cut Au-polymetallic peripheral veinlets typically related to the halo zone peripheral to high-grade mineralisation.

The primary copper minerals are malachite, chrysocolla, chalcocite as well as rare covellite and chalcopyrite occur as disseminations, in quartz veinlets and along fractures primarily hosted in potassic and phyllic-altered Laramide age quartz monzonite.

Better grade intervals are typically associated with quartz veins, while low-to-modest gold grades are associated with alteration zones around quartz veinlets, veins and shears in the dolerite host rock in wider intervals.

These intervals were also encompassed by broader halos of lower-intensity disseminated and sulphide-bearing veinlets and veins.

Locally there is up to 10% sphalerite and semi-massive galena veinlets.
