Vinegary

I’m repeatedly recommended the summer fruits ceviche as the best thing on the menu, though I can’t fathom why as vinegary slices of nectarine and melon leave quite a lot to be desired.

Smell is again an important factor for pineapple – a sweet scent shows it’s ready, but a vinegary one likely means it’s overripe.

As I bite in, the rich, smooth cheese is the perfect contrast to the crispy bacon and warm, soggy chips which buy this stage have a nice vinegary tang.

First, we had a potato soup with black truffles that was silky without excessive cream and balanced with a faint vinegary kick; the truffles were not detectable but also not missed.
