WARRENTON, Ore. (AP) — An officer shot and killed a woman who broke into someone’s home in Warrenton and later brandished a gun at law enforcement, according to the Clatsop County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies from the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office responded to Mr. B’s Exxon in the 300 block of Warrenton Road at approximately 9:31 a.m. after receiving reports of a stabbing.

The sequence of events began as the victim was driving along Warrenton Road between Plantation Drive and Village Parkway.

The sprawling district includes Columbia south of Broadway, Ashland, Jefferson City, Fulton, Holts Summit, Boonville, California, New Florence, Linn, Warrenton and also St. Charles County.

FSS operates a 52-bed emergency shelter in the Town of Warrenton and a transitional housing complex in Vint Hill, Virginia.
