Blecthington Sports’ climb up the table continues after they defeated Yarnton British Legion at home 3-0.

Mr Ives, who has lived on the Yarnton side of the Sandy Lane crossing for 40 years, said he was “not shocked” and believed drivers were at fault for the area becoming dangerous.

Though Yarnton was angry at many people about her predicament, she reserved special ire for her cheating ex-husband Dean, whom she tried to kill.

It comes as Oxfordshire Council leader Liz Leffman has written to the four parishes of Kidlington, Water Eaton, Begbroke and Yarnton to assure them support would not be given to any proposal that included the closure of the Oxford Road on matchdays.
