After telling him he'll be ex-communicated for his child trafficking ways, Stallone's Stakar Ogord showed up for Yondu's space funeral, in one of the most tear-inducing moments of the entire MCU.

Given their part collaborations, we can no doubt expect something unique, and Gunn has probably mined the comic books to find a role for his friend which is every bit as memorable as Yondu.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Sylvester Stallone played the role of Stakar Ogord a.k.a. Starhawk, a Ravager and estranged comrade of Michael Rooker’s Yondu.

While a lot of MCU and Yondu fans agree with James Gunn, there are still more than a few who want to see the character back.

While both Martinex Stakar played into the arc of Michael Rooker's Yondu, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2's finale featured the original Guardians banding together to wave off their fallen comrade.
