In 2021, Alaska Airlines launched a partnership and invested in ZeroAvia to support the development of zero emissions propulsion technology for regional aircraft.

Mr Beveridge was also very excited about the airport’s partnership with ZeroAvia, which is developing hydrogen-fuelled aircraft.

ZeroAvia has submitted its 600kW hydrogen-electric engine - ZA600 - for certification with regulators and is working towards testing the final design.
