The government under the Sanitation Model recruits sanitation workers but are supervised by Zoomlion which facilitates the payment of their allowances.

A total of 106 police facilities in the Eastern Region are expected to be disinfested and disinfected by the Zoomlion Ghana Limited (ZGL) in collaboration with the Ghana Police Service.

Earlier, Zoomlion disinfected the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) headquartered at Abossey-Okai, Accra.

The Communications Director of the Zoomlion, Emma Akyea-Boakye, said even though the disinfection was not to help stop the spread of coronavirus disease, otherwise known as Covid 19, it will equally kill bacteria and other germs in the markets.

The minister also pledged to support the Zoomlion through the establishment of plants.

The project, which is expected to be completed within four months, is collaboration among Zoomlion Ghana Limited (ZGL), its private partners, and the government.

Waste management experts, Zoomlion Ghana Limited, has launched its maiden safety week with a call on workers to adhere to the company’s health and safety regulations.

Zoomlion is willing to become a cooperative partner of African countries in their agricultural equipment localization.

He charged the Zoomlion Company to up their game in the collection of refuse in the country and called for strict supervision to enable them monitor the activities of their workers and the public.
